Cecil Smith Ballparks & Concession Stand

The Cecil Smith Ballfields are located in the center of town near Marquette Road. The ballfields were named after longtime Prairie du Chien from 1930-42 and 1946-73. He coached football, basketball, and baseball beginning in 1930. In 1930, he also began the city’s summer recreation program. The Ballfields are currently used to host Little League baseball and softball games and practices throughout the summer months.

The park has concessions and bathrooms, four dugouts, scoreboards, two backstops, bleachers, as well as piped water to the field area.
