Lochner Park
The community park was dedicated in memory and tribute to Harry Lochner. Harry Lochner spent his youth and manhood in Prairie du Chien. He spent his life serving us, as our mayor, as our counselor, and as our friend. Large groups use this park for gatherings, picnics, fundraising events, Special Olympics programs, youth Little League Baseball and softball independent soccer, and the City’s organized summer and fall play and activity program.
Amenities:
The park has two backstops and bleachers, two handicapped accessible flush toilets, a basketball court, play equipment a reservable partially open-sided picnic shelter, and a reservable new shelter built in 1995.
